The FailuresBeforeEventLog property works in conjunction with the FailureEventLogInterval property to allow you to configure error logging to fit the needs of your application and to prevent excessive messages in the Application event log.

Example

The following examples show how to define execution settings for a delivery protocol:

smtpProtocol.FailuresBeforeEventLog = 2;
smtpProtocol.FailureEventLogInterval = new TimeSpan(0, 10, 0);
smtpProtocol.FailuresBeforeAbort = 10;
smtpProtocol.MulticastRecipientLimit = 50;
smtpProtocol.WorkItemTimeout = new TimeSpan(0, 20, 0);
smtpProtocol.FailuresBeforeEventLog = 2
smtpProtocol.FailureEventLogInterval = New TimeSpan(0, 10, 0)
smtpProtocol.FailuresBeforeAbort = 10
smtpProtocol.MulticastRecipientLimit = 50
smtpProtocol.WorkItemTimeout = New TimeSpan(0, 20, 0)
