How to Find Supplemental Reports on Disabled Reporting Points

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007

Supplemental reports are reports that you or others create outside of Configuration Manager 2007 and that you place in a designated folder on a reporting point. If a reporting point site system role is removed, Configuration Manager automatically copies any supplemental reports on that computer to a folder on the root drive. Use the following procedure to find supplemental reports on a computer that has had the reporting point site system role removed.

To find supplemental reports on a computer that has had the reporting point removed

  1. Open the registry editor on the computer where the reporting point was disabled.

  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\ SMS\Client\BackupSuppRptDir

The BackupSuppRptDir value represents the path to the supplemental reports that were backed up when the reporting point was removed from the computer.
