Biography:
I started out in IT in 1996 working on a helpdesk and then moved up to Network Engineer. I joined my current employer (Assurant Solutions) as a Senior Network Analyst in 2000. After a few years I was promoted to IT Operations Manager, then after a couple of years of trying out management decided it was not for me as gradually less of my time was being spent on the fun hands-on and design side of IT and more time spent in meetings and email, so I decided it was time for a change then moved to a new role of Infrastructure Architect where I am able to Design, Implement and provide support to a wide range of Infrastructure across the organisation.
