Competition Terms and Conditions

1. ELIGIBILITY: This competition is open to any person resident in the UK who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Microsoft or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees' families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).

2. TO ENTER: Entry can only be made by delegates of the Microsoft UK Technical Launch, Wembley, 6th October 2009. Entry requires the entrant to correctly identify the answer of a technical question out of 4 possible answers from the list. The presenter of each session at the Microsoft UK Technical Launch will present a question pertaining to their session. The entrant will need to text an answer from the abovementioned list provided via text message to 60300, using the keyword 'Competition' and including the answer and entrants name. Only one entry per phone number will be accepted. Entry will cost you 1 x Standard Network Rate SMS cost and is available to customers of all mobile operators. No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed, incomplete, or for electronic entries or access to the competition. Any such entries will be deemed void at the sole discretion of Microsoft. Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Microsoft reserves the right to disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions. You must be present to claim the prize. Please get permission from the person who pays the bill.

3. TIMING: This competition from 0930 hours 6th October 2009 to 1645 hours 6th October 2009. The competition runs from the start of each session of the Microsoft UK Technical Launch. The closing time of this competition is 15 minutes before the end of each session. Session times are advertised https://www.microsoft.com/uk/thenewefficiency/agenda.mspx Completed entries must reach 60300 no later than the closing time.

4. USE OF DATA: No personal data will used.

5. SELECTION OF WINNERS: The winner will be the 7th person to text 60300 with the correct answer for each session. The winner will be announced by the presenter at the end of the session.

6. PRIZE: The prize is one Wembley jacket and one Arc Mouse. Prize as stated and non transferable. No cash or other alternatives available. Microsoft reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The prize will be handed out at the event.

7. WINNERS LIST: The winner will be announced in front of all the entrants at the end of the session by the presenter. The Winner shall collect the prize from the presenter at the close of the same session that the competition was announced, before the next session in the agenda commences.

Should the winner fail to collect the prize from the presenter, then the prize can be collected from the .... Desk no later than 4.45 p.m. on the 6th of October 2009 itself, failing which the prize shall stand foreited. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. By entering the competition you accept these terms and conditions, and agree to participate in any publicity connected with this promotion. If the winner fails to agree to these terms and conditions they shall be excluded from the competition.

9. OTHER: No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this competition or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Microsoft's decision shall be final. Microsoft reserve the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this competition at any time without notice.
