Connect to your computer from a remote location

To connect to your computer from a remote location

  1. On a remote computer, open an Internet browser, such as Internet Explorer.

  2. In the address bar, type https://<DomainName>/remote, where <DomainName> is the external domain name of your organization, such as contoso.com.

  3. Type your user name and password to log on to Remote Web Workplace.

  4. On the Remote Web Workplace home page, click Connect to a computer. The Remote Web Workplace logon page appears.

  5. In Select the computer that you want to connect to, in the list of computers, click the name of the computer that you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

Note

Select the computer that you want to connect to is not displayed if you select the Make this my default computer check box.

  1. In the A web site wants to start a remote connection message, click Connect.

  2. In Enter your credentials, type your user name and password, and then click OK.
