How to: Install Integration Services from the Command Prompt

SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (SSIS) can be installed through use of the SQL Server Installation Wizard, or at the command prompt. The Installation Wizard provides a graphical user interface that guides you through each installation decision, and is the preferred method for most users. Command prompt installations are for advanced scenarios such as remote and silent installations; they can be run directly at the command prompt, or from command prompt syntax that references an .ini file to specify installation options.
