Applies to: Project Pro for Office 365, Office 365

Topic Last Modified: 2014-09-11

Microsoft Project Pro for Office 365 delivers the latest version of Project Professional as a desktop subscription through Office 365, and your software is automatically kept up to date with options for customizable policies.

When you add Project Pro for Office 365 to your Enterprise Office 365 subscription, you have more options for project management through its integration with SharePoint Online. Teams can create, assign, and update tasks, add a timeline to their SharePoint site, and collaborate from almost anywhere on nearly any device. Task details can be viewed in Project Pro for Office 365 for additional project management rigor and reporting. Team tasks can also be imported into Microsoft Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions, such as Project Online or Project Lite, for more advanced scenarios.

To compare features across plans, see Office 365 service comparison.

You can export, save, and print pages in the Office 365 Service Descriptions. Learn how to export multiple pages.

NoteNote:
Project Pro for Office 365 is a project management solution. If you’re looking for PPM solutions, see the Project Online Service Description. Confused about the differences between project management and PPM solutions? See Project, Project Management, and Project Portfolio Management.
