Data Leakage is a real problem and sometimes a threat in today’s corporate environment. This goes from employees loosing thumb drives with confidential corporate data or even customer information to contractors and employees leaving the company with valuable intellectual property to the voluntary or accidental release of information to competitors or the press.


In this talk, we first how to approach Data Leakage Prevention. We then concentrate on how you can make this practical by deploying the tools that are already available in many of today’s enterprise and that are based on Microsoft’s security stack, enhanced by some partner offerings, that help you solve your Data Leakage problem. Infrastructure solutions discussed include amongst others Dynamic Access Control, Active Directory Rights Management Services and Bitlocker as well as integration in often used infrastructure such as Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint services.
