Rate:

About This Video

Windows Server 2008 R2 & Windows 7 really are better together, especially when you have branch offices that utilize already saturated WAN links. The historical solution to improving the performance of these link has either been to go for bigger links or to buy hardware accelerators, both option cost money though and with budgets seemingly shrinking on a daily basis, this just isn't going to fly. Gordon Ryan is glad you asked, and in this video he will show you how you can configure BranchCache in Hosted mode to offer clients improved access times while consuming less bandwidth on those congested WAN links.
