Microsoft Learning and the Microsoft Lync team partnered to bring IT and telecommunications Professionals an engaging opportunit yto learn what you need to know to plan and design Microsoft Lync Server 2010 solutions. This is an accelerated course. Attendees are expected to have experience in hands-on deployment and day-to-day management of Unified Communications technologies for enterprise organizations and the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Configuring or equivalent knowledge.

  • Modules 1-4 focus on Lync Server 2010 Topology Design
  • Modules 5-8 focus on Lync Server 2010 Infrastructure & Network Design
  • Modules 8-13 focus on Lync Server 2010 Services & Maintenance Design

This is the first part of a two-part session where Rui Maximo and Brian Ricks provide details on designing voice infrastructure for Microsoft Lync Server 2010 solutions. This module's focus is on Understanding Voice Topology Options, Understanding Gateway Options, Interoperability and an Introduction to Designing Dial Plans.
