Remove-AvailabilityAddressSpace

Use the Remove-AvailabilityAddressSpace cmdlet to remove a previously defined availability address space and the associated credentials that are used in cross-forest requests for free/busy information.

Syntax

Remove-AvailabilityAddressSpace -Identity <AvailabilityAddressSpaceIdParameter> [-Confirm [<SwitchParameter>]] [-DomainController <Fqdn>] [-WhatIf [<SwitchParameter>]]

Detailed Description

The Remove-AvailabilityAddressSpace cmdlet removes a previously defined availability address space and the associated credentials that are used in cross-forest requests for free/busy information. To effectively use the command, run it on a computer that has the Client Access server role installed.

To run the Remove-AvailabilityAddressSpace cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:

  • Exchange Organization Administrator role

Parameters

Identity

Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.AvailabilityAddressSpaceIdParameter

The Identity parameter specifies the availability address space entry to be removed.

DomainController

Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Fqdn

To specify the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the domain controller that retrieves data from the Active Directory directory service, include the DomainController parameter in the command.

Confirm

Optional

System.Management.Automation.SwitchParameter

The Confirm parameter causes the command to pause processing and requires you to acknowledge what the command will do before processing continues. You do not have to specify a value with the Confirm parameter.

WhatIf

Optional

System.Management.Automation.SwitchParameter

The WhatIf parameter instructs the command to simulate the actions that it would take on the object. By using the WhatIf parameter, you can view what changes would occur without having to apply any of those changes. You don't have to specify a value with the WhatIf parameter.
