Session Outline
In this session, we will discuss many new features shared by Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. We will start by talking about why Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista are so closely related and together, they enable many new and exciting features that promote more efficient management. We will talk about the new features that make data more available, such as improvements to offline files, client-side print rendering, the transactional file system, and policy-based Quality of Service. And finally, we will review such things as the new TCP/IP stack and SMB 2.0 protocol that speed network communications in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista.
