Session Outline

In this session, we will look at Network Policy Server in Windows Server 2008 and how to implement Network Access Protection. The session will start with an introduction to the Network Policy Server (NPS). We will see how it can play a valuable role in maintaining the integrity of an internal computer network. Then we will see how to deploy and configure NAP. We will show you how NAP works, and how it employs NPS. The session will also take a look at some best practices. Then see how to enable debug tracing, and how it can be used for monitoring and troubleshooting connectivity problems. And finally, we will see how to use load balancing and how to set up fallback servers, as well as various techniques for deploying backup/recovery plans to maintain a high-availability network access system.
