Session Outline

In the session you will get an in-depth look into the new request tracing and diagnostic features of IIS 7. IIS 7 has many new and exciting tracing features that make diagnosing problems and troubleshooting much easier than in previous versions of IIS. In this session we will introduce you to each of these new areas. We will see how a new API makes it possible for you to access detailed live runtime information about your server and how the API allows you to control the configuration of your server during runtime. We will also look at the new tracing subsystem and how it can be configured to automatically trace events for you. Finally, we will show how you can integrate these new tracing features into your own bespoke modules.
