Session Outline
There is an increasing demand to make business intelligence (BI) "real-time"; however, this can be a challenge. This session discusses the challenges of real-time BI, and shows how some of these can be overcome by new features available in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, along with other components of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Although barriers preventing complete real-time BI still exist, SQL Server 2005 makes your information close enough to real time to support better and faster business decisions.
Session Agenda
- What are the barriers to real-time Business Intelligence (BI)?
- How can Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services be used to make BI more real-time?
