In this session, we will be going through an overview tour of the new features of SQL Server 2008, split into four core areas. Microsoft's Data Platform provides a business solution that enables organizations to store and manage many types of data using a rich set of services for interacting with their data. SQL Server 2008 increases our strong support of non-relational data with new data types that allow developers and administrators to easily manage and store unstructured data types such as documents and images. With an integrated development environment that simplifies access to data, developers will be able to create the next generation of data applications for your business.
