This session will discuss the SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services Architecture and how this redesigned architecture makes SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services modular and scalable. First, we will cover the main Report Server architecture changes to the Report Server, with a focus on the server and report engine. We will also discuss the impact these changes will have on customer deployments when planning a Report Server installation or upgrade. Then, we will cover the benefits of the new Reporting Services Architecture. The benefits are scalability, deployability, and reliability. The flexibility of framework enables us to deliver future releases and customer value faster.
