Tools for Exchange Server 2007

Exchange 2007 Anti-Spam Migration (English only)

May 9, 2007. Helps administrators migrate anti-spam settings from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 environments.

Exchange Server Jetstress (English only)

July 14, 2008. Verify the performance and stability of the disk subsystem before putting the Exchange server into a production environment.

Exchange Load Generator (English only)

April 28, 2008. Perform benchmarking, pre-deployment validation, and stress testing tasks that introduce various types of workloads into a test (non-production) Exchange messaging system. Simulate the delivery of multiple MAPI, Outlook Web Access, IMAP, POP, and SMTP client messaging requests to an Exchange server.

Exchange Server Stress and Performance (English only)

March 7, 2007. Simulate large numbers of client sessions by concurrently accessing one or more protocol servers. Exchange Server Stress and Performance includes multiple modules that you can use to simulate several protocols and loads.

Exchange Server Profile Analyzer (English only)

January 3, 2007. Collect estimated statistical information from a single mailbox store or from across an entire Exchange Server organization. Use the collected data for tasks such as analyzing the performance and health of a server that has mailboxes.

Exchange Public Folder DAV-Based Administration (English only)

April 4, 2007. Use the Exchange Server Public Folder Distributed Authoring and Versioning (DAV)-based Administration tool (PFDAVAdmin) to perform various management tasks related to public folders and mailboxes.

Management Pack for Exchange Server 2007 for MOM 2005

April 7, 2008. A significant aspect of Exchange 2007 daily operations is to monitor the health of Exchange components. The Exchange Server 2007 Management Pack includes rules and scripts to monitor and report on performance, availability, and reliability of all Exchange 2007 server roles including Mailbox, Client Access, Hub Transport, Edge Transport, and Unified Messaging.

Tools and Exchange Server 2007

Exchange Server 2007 includes a built-in Toolbox with a variety of tools (including the Exchange Analyzer family of tools) that are designed to help administrators analyze and troubleshoot their Exchange environment.

Tools Support

Microsoft provides support for only the latest version of the tools. The latest version of the tool is supported as long as the product it works with is supported. Compatibility

Updates to the tools are cumulative. Newer versions of the tools provide the same baseline functionality that the earlier versions provided as long as Exchange Server functionality still supports the earlier versions of a tool.

Languages

Unless otherwise noted, tools are available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Chinese Simplified, and Chinese Traditional. Tools marked as English only may work on localized platforms, but such use has not been tested and is not supported by Microsoft.
