Set up items to reserve

Click Inventory management > Setup > Inventory and warehouse management parameters.
On the General tab:
Select the Reserve ordered items check box if inventory reservations are allowed on items that are only ordered on purchase orders.
Clear the check box if inventory reservations are only allowed on items on-hand.
