Subscription groups (form)

Click Service management > Setup > Service subscriptions > Subscription groups.

Use this form to create and maintain subscription groups.

Tasks that use this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
General	View the settings for the number sequence, invoicing period code, and accrual period code for the subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group.

Button	Description
Service subscriptions	Display all subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group.
Function	Open a menu that contains the following items: Create subscription fee – Create subscription transactions for all subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group. Index subscription – Update the base price or indexes for all subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group. Accrue subscription revenue – Accrue revenue for all subscription transactions that are created from the subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group.
Project control	Open a menu with the following item: Project statements – View statements for a defined combination of project types and transaction types.

Service subscriptions

Display all subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group.

Function

Open a menu that contains the following items:

Create subscription fee – Create subscription transactions for all subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group.
Index subscription – Update the base price or indexes for all subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group.
Accrue subscription revenue – Accrue revenue for all subscription transactions that are created from the subscriptions that are attached to the subscription group.

Project control

Open a menu with the following item:

Project statements – View statements for a defined combination of project types and transaction types.

Field	Description
Subscription group	Enter the identifier for the subscription group.
Name	Enter the name of the subscription group.
Invoicing	Select the invoice period code frequency. For more information, see Invoicing period code.
Subscription group number sequence	Select the number sequence that you want to associate with the subscription group. If you leave this field blank, you can specify a number sequence when you create a subscription.
Accrual	Enter the frequency with which you want to accrue revenue from subscription transactions. The invoicing period must be divisible by the accrual period.
Accrue revenue	Select this check box if you want to accrue revenue on subscription transactions that are created from subscriptions that are attached to the selected subscription group. If you select this check box, you must also specify an accrual period to determine the accrual frequency for the transaction.
