Loan types (form)

Click Human resources > Setup > Workers > Loan > Loan types.

Use this form to set up loan types. Loan types are used to:

Categorize loan items.
Define the grace period for the return of loan items. A grace period is the number of days a loan may be past due before a reminder is issued to the borrower to return the item.

Note

You cannot delete loan types that are assigned to loan items.

Task that uses this form

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Field	Description
Loan type	Identify the loan type.
Description	Describe the loan type.
Grace period	Define the number of days that items assigned to this loan type can be overdue. This number is the default number of days when you assign the loan type to a new loan item. You can change the number for a specific item.
