Symptom codes (form)

Click Service management > Setup > Repair > Symptom areas. Then click Symptom codes.
Use this form to create symptom codes that are used in repair lines for service objects. Symptom codes are associated with symptom areas and identify malfunctions that are based on customer’s descriptions of problems.
Example
A customer brings an automobile to your repair shop and reports several issues, which you list as symptom codes:
When the brakes are applied, the car makes a noise and the steering wheel shakes. You add the two symptom codes, Noise and Shaking, to the existing Brakes symptom area.
The car shakes while turning corners. You add the symptom code, Shaking, to the existing Steering problems symptom area.
