Acquisition proposal (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Fixed assets > Journals > Fixed assets. Select a fixed asset journal and click Lines. Select a journal voucher and click Proposals > Acquisition proposal.

Click Fixed assets > Journals > Depreciation book journal. Select a depreciation book journal and click Lines. Select a journal voucher and click Proposals > Acquisition proposal.

Use this form to create journal lines for a fixed asset or fixed asset group that you select in the query. The fields in the form will change, depending on the selections you make in the query form.

The lines have a Not yet acquired status, an acquisition date, an acquisition price based on the value model that you selected, and the Acquisition transaction type.

Select

Open a query in which you can limit and sort the data to include in the proposal process. If you do not limit the data, all of the relevant data is used.

OK

Process the batch.

Cancel

Delete the entries that you made in the Select query.

Fixed asset number

The fixed asset number that the proposal is based on.

Fixed asset group

The fixed asset group that the proposal is based on.

Depreciation book

The fixed asset depreciation book information that the proposal is based on. This field is available only when you open the form from the Depreciation books form.

Status

The asset status that the proposal is based on. This field is available only when you open the form from the Depreciation books form.

Value model

The fixed asset value model information that the proposal is based on. This field is available only when you open the form from the fixed assets Journal form.

Posting layer

The posting layer information that the proposal is based on. This field is available only when you open the form from the fixed assets Journal form.
