Click Cost accounting > Journals > Budget overview.

Use this form to manage or view the budget costs that are created in the cost budget and service budget.

Use the Budget register entries form to view forecast transactions that have been transferred to a ledger budget.

The budget register entries that are transferred can be processed automatically based the selections in the Create processed budget register entries when transferring budget from field group in the Budget area of the Budget parameters form.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Overview	View all the dimension budget lines.
Cost categories	View the cost categories that have budget amounts for this dimension.
Service categories	View the service categories that have budget quantities for this dimension.
Cost lines	View the cost lines that have budget amounts or quantities for this dimension.

Buttons

Button	Description
Cost budget	Open the Cost budget form, in which you can enter cost budget values.
Service budget	Open the Service budget form, in which you can enter service budget values.
Transfer budgets	Open the Transfer from form, in which you can transfer budget values from or to a ledger budget.

Fields

Field	Description
Budget model	Use this filter to select a budget model.
Dimensions	Use this filter to select a dimension type.
All dimensions	Select this check box to show all dimensions, even the dimensions that do not have a budget value.
Number	The number of the dimension that you selected.
Description	The description of this dimension.
Amount fixed	The total budget fixed amount for this dimension.
Amount variable	The total budget variable amount for this dimension.
Total amount	The total budget amount for this dimension.
Cost category	The cost category.
Description	The description for the cost category.
Amount fixed	The total budget fixed amount for the cost category.
Amount variable	The total budget variable amount for the cost category.
Total amount	The total budget amount for the cost category.
Service category	The service category.
Description	The description for this service category.
Credit quantity	The total budget credit quantity for this service category.
Debit quantity	The total budget debit quantity for this service category.
Cost line	The cost line number.
Description	The cost line description.
Quantity	The cost line quantity.
Amount fixed	The total budget fixed amount for this cost line.
Amount variable	The total budget variable amount for this cost line.
Total amount	The total budget quantity for this cost line.
