Planned production route overview (form)

Click Production control > Inquiries > Job list. On the Action Pane, click Route.

Use this form to view the planned production route for the operation that is assigned to the job. The production route identifies the path that a particular item takes through the manufacturing process. It is composed of the sequential operations, or tasks, that are required to produce the item. It also contains information about operations resources, and the standard time that is required to set up and run the operations.

Fields

Field

Description

Oper. No.

The number that specifies the position of the operation in the sequence of operations on the selected route.

Priority

The priority of the operation on the route. An operation is either primary or secondary. The priority determines which operation a resource is allocated to when two operations are scheduled to be performed at the same time.

Operation

The name of the operation.

Resource

The operations resource or operations resource group that is assigned to the operation.

Start date

The scheduled start date.

Start time

The scheduled start time.

End date

The scheduled end date.

End time

The scheduled end time.

Quantity

The number of resources that are required to perform the operation.

Load

The percentage of maximum capacity that the resource can be loaded with.

Requirement type

The requirement type that is selected for the operation.

Operation scheduling

A selected check box indicates that the operation or job can be included in operation scheduling.

Job scheduling

A selected check box indicates that the operation can be included in job scheduling.

Reported as finished

A selected check box indicates that the operation has been reported as finished.
