sp_delete_targetservergroup

SQL Server 2000

Deletes the specified target server group.

Syntax

sp_delete_targetservergroup [ @name = ] 'name'

Arguments

[@name =] 'name'

Is the name of the target server group to remove. name is sysname, with no default.

Return Code Values

0 (success) or 1 (failure)

Result Sets

None

Permissions

Only members of the sysadmin fixed server role or the db_owner fixed database role can execute sp_delete_targetservergroup.

Examples

This example removes the target server group Servers Maintaining Customer Information.

USE msdb
EXEC sp_delete_targetservergroup 
   @name = N'Servers Maintaining Customer Information'
