This guide discusses how, when using S/MIME, encryption protects the contents of e-mail messages, and digital signatures verify the identity of a purported sender of an e-mail message. This guide also provides guidance on how to implement S/MIME with Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003. In addition, a script (ListSMIMECerts.vbs) is included with the download and will be unpackaged with the guide.
