Migrate from Lotus Domino to Exchange Server 2003

This section defines the steps involved in performing a multiple-phase migration from Lotus Domino to Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003. These guidelines are recommended for most migrations and consist of extracting data from the Lotus Domino server and immediately importing it to Exchange Server 2003.

In theory, you need only a single Exchange Server 2003 server to use Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes. However, it is not recommended that you run Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes on a server running Exchange Server 2003 that hosts mailboxes because users will likely experience performance degradation.
