Enable circular logging
Use this check box to enable and disable circular logging for the storage group. Circular logging allows Exchange to overwrite transaction log files after the data within those log files has been committed to the database. However, if circular logging is enabled, you can recover data only up until the last full backup. You can combine circular logging with continuous replication by using continuous replication circular logging (CRCL). For more information about CRCL, see Understanding Transaction Logging.
You can also use the Exchange Management Shell to enable and disable circular logging for a storage group. For more information, see Set-StorageGroup.
