How to Disable the NetLogon Check on a Front-End Server
DSAccess connects to Active Directory servers to check available disk space, time synchronization, and replication participation by using the NetLogon service with RPC. This procedure explains how to disable the NetLogon check.

Procedure
To disable the NetLogon check
Start Registry Editor (regedit).
Locate and select the following key in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services
\MSExchangeDSAccess\On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
Value name: DisableNetlogonCheck
Data type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 1
