How Reads and Writes are Calculated

Topic Last Modified: 2006-09-14

Application Analyzer's reports indicate reads and writes to Domino applications based on information stored in the database. As per Lotus' documentation, reads are incremented when a document is opened or replicated. Writes are incremented when a documented is deleted from the application (or deleted via replication), or a document is added or replicated to the application.

Table 1 shows the activities that are monitored when activity logging is enabled for an application.
