Mail-Disabling User Objects

Topic Last Modified: 2005-04-20

Disabling mail-enabled user or inetOrgPerson objects is sometimes necessary if organizations have a policy to disable the accounts prior to deletion. In addition, the Exchange Administrator must have Read and Write access to the following user or inetOrgPerson object attributes:

noteNote:
Mail-disabling an object removes mail-related properties from the object; it does not disable the object as an authentication principal.
