How to Start the Calendar Connector Service in a Novell GroupWise Environment
This topic discusses how to start the Calendar Connector service in a Novell GroupWise environment.
Before You Begin
To successfully complete the procedure in this topic, ensure that the server on which you install Calendar Connector meets the following requirements:
The server is running Exchange Server 2003.
The server running Exchange 2003 has a local replica of the SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY public folder.
The server is part of the same routing group as the server running Connector for Novell GroupWise.
You have Exchange Administrator permissions, and you are a member of the Administrators group on the computer on which you install Calendar Connector.
You have network connectivity to the Novell NetWare server running the Novell GroupWise API Gateway.
Procedure
To start the Calendar Connector service
Open the Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in: Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
In the details pane, right-click Microsoft Exchange Calendar Connector, and then click Start.
The default startup type for Calendar Connector is manual. You should change the startup type to Automatic. To do this, right-click Microsoft Exchange Calendar Connector, and then click Properties. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click OK. The next time the server starts, the Calendar Connector service starts automatically.
