Applies to: Exchange Server 2007 SP3, Exchange Server 2007 SP2, Exchange Server 2007 SP1

This wizard page signifies that you are attempting to edit an address list that was created by using one of the following:

  • Exchange Server 2003   If this is a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 address list, you must use Exchange System Manager in Exchange 2003 to edit this object or upgrade the object to an Exchange Server 2007 object. For more information, see Managing Exchange 2003 Settings in a Coexistence Environment.

  • Exchange Management Shell   Some address list settings that you can set in the Exchange Management Shell cannot be managed in the Exchange Management Console. If this is an address list that was created or edited by using the Exchange Management Shell, use the Exchange Management Shell to edit this address list. For more information, see Update-AddressList.

Click Cancel to return to the Exchange Management Console and close the Edit Address List wizard.
