When you set a remote domain, you can control out of office notifications, specify message formatting and policy, and specify acceptable character sets sent to the remote domain.

Name: This field shows the unique display name of the domain of the remote domain.

Domain: This field shows the SMTP domain name of the remote domain, as follows, for example, contoso.com.
