How to Change the Update Interval of the Recipient Update Service

You can choose to have the Recipient Update Service run at customized intervals. By default, the Recipient Update Service is set to Always Run. When it runs, only required changes are made. This procedure outlines how to modify the update interval of the Recipient Update Service.

Procedure

To change the update interval

  1. In Exchange System Manager, expand the Recipients container.

  2. Right-click the Recipient Update Service to be modified, click Properties, and then change the Update interval option.
