The Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Management Pack for Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) monitors the Windows Application log on computers that are running Exchange Server 2007 and generates this alert when the event or events specified in the following Details table are logged.

To learn more about this event, do one or more of the following:

  • Review the description of the event that includes the variables specific to your environment. From the MOM Operator Console, select this alert, and then click the Properties tab.

  • Review all events that have been logged that meet the criteria of this MOM alert. From the MOM Operator Console, click the Events tab, and then double-click the event in the list for which you want to review the event description.

The route to the source transport server or MTA server for the specified connector could not be found in the routing tables. The source Hub Transport server has been ignored.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that the Microsoft® Exchange Server  2007 transport routing engine cannot route messages through the connector specified in the event description. Microsoft Exchange ignored the source transport server. This event may occur when one of the following conditions is true:

  • The source transport server specified on the connector is not valid.

  • The source transport server is not routable. For example, the source transport server cannot be found in the routing tables.

User Action

To resolve this error, follow one or more of these steps:

  • Make sure that you have correctly configured the source transport server on the connector specified in the event description. For information about how to configure connectors, see Managing Connectors.

  • Verify that a clear Active Directory® directory service site or routing group connector route exists to the servers specified in the connector.
