The Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Management Pack for Operations Manager includes a performance data collection engine that is used to query performance counter objects on computers that are running Exchange Server 2007. For this Operations Manager rule, data is collected using the performance counter specified in the Details table.

To review the value of the performance counter that generated this alert, in the Operator Console, select this alert, and then click the Properties tab.

The Log Bytes Write/sec performance counter indicates the rate at which bytes are written to the log file.

This alert indicates that the bytes have been written to the log file at a rate of at least 1024000 bytes per second, sustained for at least 15 minutes. This alert usually indicates that you have a message looping.

To resolve this critical error, do the following:

  • Review the Application log for related events. For example, events that occur immediately before and after this event may provide more information about the root cause of this error.
