Reporting Enhancements in Operations Manager 2007
The Reporting feature of Operations Manager 2007 has been enhanced for this release and focuses on customer scenarios, performance, and usability. In Operations Manager 2007 Reporting:
- Data does not need to go through the Operations Manager 2007 database before going to the Reporting database. Data can be sent directly to either the Operations Manager 2007 or Reporting databases, or both.
- Reporting data is available with virtually no latency.
- Reports are displayed in the Operations Manager 2007 Console.
- Data is pre-aggregated, summarized, and indexed. Reports covering long periods of time display quickly.
