Operations Manager 2007 can send a notification to operators as soon as an alert occurs. To configure a notification within a network environment, administrators must complete the following actions:

1. Enable a notification channel.
   
2. Create one or more Notification Recipients.
   
3. Create one or more Notification Subscriptions.
   

Operators can then subscribe to a notification to begin receiving notifications.
