How to Deploy an Operations Manager 2007 Operations Console Using the Setup Wizard

Use the following procedure to deploy the Operations Manager 2007 Operations Console from the Setup Wizard. To open the Operations Console, you must be a member of an Operations Manager 2007 user role for the specified Management Group. For information about Operations Manager 2007 user roles, see About User Roles in Operations Manager 2007.

Note

An error message stating insufficient permissions might display if a user attempts to start the Operations Console when that user is a member of a Domain Local security group, and that group is a member of the Operations Manager Administrators User Role when the domain controller is operating in the mixed functional level. The domain functional level must be raised to the native level. For more information about raising domain functional levels, see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=104948.

Note

After you install a secondary Management Server along with Operations Console, if you want to remove the Management Server but keep Operations Console, first uninstall all the components. Then you can install Operations Console on that system.
