System Center Essentials Create Rule Wizard: Configure Alerts Page

Use this page to specify settings and properties for alerts.

This page contains the elements described in the following table.

Name Description

Alert name

The name of the rule.

Description

A description of the rule.

Ellipsis ()

Opens the Alert Description dialog box, where you can draft a description of the rule.

Priority

A drop-down list of priority settings.

Severity

A drop-down list of severity settings.

Custom alert fields

Opens the Custom Alert Fields dialog box, where you can create custom fields for your alert.

Alert suppression

Opens the Alert Suppression dialog box, where you can select fields that are duplicates so you can suppress one of them.
