System Center Essentials Add Management Group Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to create a new Management Group and define its Root Management Server. This dialog box appears when you click Add Management Group in the Administration view of the navigation pane.

This dialog box contains the following elements.

  • Management Group name
    Displays the name of the Management Group that you enter.
  • Root Management Server
    Displays the fully qualified domain name of the Root Management Server of the Management Group that you enter.
  • Use the SDK service account
    Indicates that the SDK Service account is used to update information in the Essentials 2007 database.
  • Other user account
    Indicates that a user account that you specify is used to update information in the Essentials 2007 database.

    • User name: Displays the name of the domain or local user account that you enter.

    • Password: Displays the masked password that you enter.

    • Domain: Displays the domain of the user account that you choose.
