To use Microsoft® Exchange Load Generator, you must meet the minimum and recommended system requirements outlined in the following table.

Consider the following before you download and install Exchange Load Generator.

Requirements can increase if you use custom messages and custom configurations.

The Loadgen.msi will automatically install messaging queuing, if it is not already installed. This is required to be able to run the remote control feature.

We recommend that you use the /3GB switch for all 32-bit Windows Server 2003 clients.

You must download the Exchange 2007 SP1 management tools to be able to run on Exchange Server 32-bit systems.

Exchange Load Generator does not support creating users on an Edge server role.
