How to Modify a Software Update Definition
Existing software update definitions in System Center Updates Publisher are modified by using the Modify Update Wizard. For more information about the Modify Update Wizard and the configuration options on each wizard page, see About the Create Update Wizard and Modify Update Wizard.
Important
Updates with the Driver classification type or update bundles cannot be created or modified.
Use the following procedure to open the Modify Update Wizard and modify software update definitions.
To modify a software update definition
In the Updates Publisher console tree pane, select an Updates Publisher product.
Right-click the software update that needs to be modified, and then click Edit to open the Modify Update Wizard.
Navigate to the wizard page that contains the configuration setting that needs to be modified.
