Planning for Inventory

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

You should complete the necessary planning required before enabling the hardware and software client agents in the Configuration Manager console. Hardware and software inventory client agents are configured on a sitewide basis.
