New Server Share Site System Dialog Box

Use the New Server Share Site System dialog box in Configuration Manager 2007 to identify the server share you want to use as a site system.

The New Server Share Site System dialog box contains the following elements:

Name
Displays the name of the server share.

An example of a server share is: \\MyServer\MyShare

You can use up to 15 characters for the server name, but the following characters are not allowed:

/ \ [ ] : ; | = , + * ? " < >

You can use up to 255 characters for the share name, but the following characters are not allowed:

/ \ : | * ? " < >
