Configuration Manager 2007 sites require regular maintenance to provide services effectively and continuously.

You can create maintenance tasks customized to your organization by creating new SQL commands. Configuration Manager 2007 also provides several predefined site maintenance tasks that you can use to regularly maintain the Configuration Manager 2007 site database to ensure that it stays healthy.
