About Active Directory Security Group Discovery

The Configuration Manager 2007 Active Directory Security Group Discovery searches Active Directory Domain Services for security group information that can be used to create collections and queries. It discovers local groups, global groups, and universal security groups.

Active Directory Security Group Discovery actions are recorded in the file adsgdis.log in the <InstallationPath>\LOGS folder on the site server.
