How to Run or Update a Query

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

noteNote
No rights are needed to run a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 query, but query results are limited to the security objects for which you have Read permission.

noteNote
Some invalid queries do not generate errors. Therefore, if a query does not return data, it might be invalid. Review the query to ensure that, for example, it is not querying a resource for a value that it does not possess.

How to Run or Update a Query

  1. Navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Queries.

  2. Select the query that you want to run or update. The results of the query appear in the results pane of the Configuration Manager console.
